Band is the primary place for PTA news, event details, and volunteer opportunities.

Complete the BAND access form to request an invitation. Requests are reviewed regularly by school administration. Approved applicants will receive an invitation by email and must then submit a join request in BAND.

How does Staff Cart work?

Staff Cart is a fun way for Claxton families to celebrate the more than 100 staff members who support our students. Families can choose a theme, provide money or supplies, deliver the cart, or combine these options. Popular themes include caffeine carts, supply carts, and sweet-treat carts.

The PTA can deliver the cart for you, or you can bring it to Claxton and help set it up. Delivery dates and times must be coordinated with the PTA Service team. Dates shown on the signup are placeholders and can be adjusted.

Labeled items for bus drivers, crossing guards, or ACES staff may be left with the front office.

How do I request reimbursement for Staff Cart purchases?

Claxton PTA can reimburse up to $100 for items purchased for a Staff Cart. Contact the PTA Service team through BAND or at service@claxtonpta.com for reimbursement instructions.

Can I help if I can’t volunteer at school?

Yes! Many opportunities do not require coming to school during the day. You can donate requested items, sponsor a Staff Cart, help with planning or communications, support fundraising projects, or complete other tasks from home. Check the Volunteers page and BAND for current needs.
