How do I join or renew my PTA membership?
Visit our Join the PTA page for membership details and a link to Givebacks. Membership is $10 per family annually, plus a Givebacks processing fee.
Do I have to volunteer or attend meetings?
No. PTA members are not required to volunteer or attend meetings. Joining is a simple way to support Claxton and be part of the school community.
How are membership dues used?
A portion of each membership payment covers required dues to North Carolina PTA and National PTA. The remainder stays with Claxton PTA and helps support student programs, family events, staff appreciation, and other resources for our school community.
What is BAND, and how do I request access?
BAND is the primary place for Claxton PTA news, event details, and volunteer opportunities.
Complete the BAND access form to request an invitation. Requests are reviewed regularly by school administration. Approved applicants will receive an invitation by email and must then submit a join request in BAND.

What is Givebacks?
Givebacks is the online platform Claxton PTA uses for membership purchases. It also offers an optional Rewards program for eligible online shopping and dining.
Rewards can be kept as cash back, used toward eligible Givebacks purchases, or donated to a participating organization such as Claxton PTA. You do not need to participate in Rewards to purchase a PTA membership.
How do I create a Givebacks account and support Claxton PTA?
Open Givebacks online or download the mobile app.
Select Get Started and create an account or sign in.
Search for and follow Claxton Elementary PTA.
Follow the prompts to choose how your Rewards will be allocated.
Givebacks will guide you through activating eligible shopping and dining offers. You can change the organizations you support and your allocation choices in your Givebacks settings.
Where can I get technical help with Givebacks?
Visit the Givebacks Help Center for assistance with accounts, purchases, Rewards, browser extensions, linked cards, and donations.
When signed in, select the question-mark icon to contact Givebacks Support, or email support@givebacks.com.

How do I link my Lowes Foods Fresh Rewards card to support Claxton?
Lowes Foods’ Cart 2 Class program allows you to connect your Fresh Rewards account to participating schools.
Sign in, create an account, or locate your existing Fresh Rewards account when prompted.
Open Cart 2 Class under My Savings.
Search for and select Claxton Elementary School.
You may select up to three participating schools. Once Claxton is selected, eligible purchases of participating Lowes Foods private-brand products will help the school earn rewards.
How do I support Claxton when shopping at Office Depot or OfficeMax?
Provide Claxton Elementary School’s 5% Back to Schools ID: 70061335 when you make a qualifying purchase online, by phone, or at an Office Depot or OfficeMax store.
Office Depot will give Claxton merchandise credits equal to 5% of qualifying purchases. These credits can be used by the school to purchase supplies.
If you forget to provide the school ID, purchases made during the current calendar quarter may still be credited. Take an in-store receipt to an Office Depot or OfficeMax location, or use the online form for an online or phone order.

How do I support Claxton through Box Tops for Education?
Download the Box Tops for Education app and create an account.
Search for and select Claxton Elementary School as the school you want to support.
Purchase participating Box Tops products.
Scan your paper receipt in the app within 14 days of purchase.
The app identifies eligible products and credits the earnings to Claxton. The program also supports qualifying digital receipts, and families can connect eligible retailer accounts such as Walmart.

How can I contact Claxton’s principal or assistant principal?
Visit Claxton’s official Administration page for current school-leadership information. For immediate assistance, call the Claxton Elementary front office at 336-545-2010.
Where can I access my student’s grades, attendance, assignments, and other school information?
Guilford County Schools uses Infinite Campus Parent for grades, attendance, assignments, and other important student information.

Where can I find information about ACES after-school care?
The GCS ACES page provides current registration, account and payment access, tuition information, program calendars, family handbooks, and site contact information. Enrollment is subject to availability.
